Meet Our Staff
Minister
Ben Bailey
Ben Bailey is a native of Texas, and has been preaching the Gospel since 1999. He is a graduate of the Brown Trail School of Preaching and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Bible and ministry from Oklahoma Christian University. Ben is married to Christie and they have two children: Nathan & Hannah.
Ben also serves as the speaker for The Gospel of Christ television, radio, and internet broadcasts.
Young Adult Ministers
Brent Butner & Clay Kelly
Plainview has a very active young adults ministry and Brent and Clay work with this group. Brent is married to Bethany and they have one son Beau. Clay is married to Kayla and they have one daughter Caroline.
Spanish Minister
Christian Vargas
Christian is the Spanish minister for Plainview's Spanish congregation. He is a native of Costa Rica and has been with Plainview since 2019. He is married to Yendry and they have two children: Odalys and Allison. Christian also has one granddaughter: Athena.
Senior Youth Ministers (9th-12th Grade)
Jared Coffell
Plainview has a great group of young people who love the Lord and each other. This group is led by our youth minister: Jared Coffell. Jared, also serves as one of our deacons and is married to Haley. They have two children: Robert and Kathryn.
Elementary Youth Minister (K-4th Grade)
Matt Mitchell
Matt Morgan works with our youngest age group of children, Kindergarten-4th grade. Matt is married to Morgan and they have three boys: Ben, Charley, and Will.
Youth Minister (Junior youth 5th-8th grade)
Joey Gardner
Joey Gardner works with our Junior Youth group. (ages 5th-8th grade). Joey also works full-time as a firefighter for the city of Huntsville. He is married to Stephanie and they have three children: Brodie, Beckom, Belle.

Lisa English
If you call or come by the church office, the first person you talk to will be one of our secretaries. Rhonda has been working as the church secretary for 25 years. Lisa has been helping Rhonda in the church office since 2018.
